I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THE COSTWAY BRAND COUNTERTOP ICE MAKER

I've had 2 of these machines and they've both lasted about a year and 9 months. I bought the second one thinking that the first was just a fluke. Both have had the same problem. The "ice is full" sensor has gone out. Without that sensor the machine won't make ice. The machine just kicks off right after you turn it on because the sensor tells the maker that the ice basket is full. It's cheaper to buy a new machine than to have it repaired. The machine produced lots of ice up until the sensor went out. No complaints about that but these machines should last longer than a year or so. I recommend buying a different brand.

This is a great product that makes ice really quickly. The cubes are cylindrical so they melt faster.

I bought this April 2021. It worked great and I loved it, until August 2022. Just over a year of use and I found broken plastic pieces inside where the cubes drop. Found out they broke off the ice sweeper, and it no longer works. The sweeper goes back and forth until it shuts itself down. I contacted Costway and they will not replace it, or the parts, or anything. I will not buy Costway again!

Great while it lasted

It worked good for the 14 months it lasted. The first sign of trouble began at month 12. The cubes started getting hung up and not dropping into the basket consistently. Today the mechanism that scoops and dumps the cubes into the basket failed completely.

Is the water you add to the ice maker pure water? Pure water has no electrolytes, and then the sensors can't sense the water. Please try mineral water..

The ice maker will only make one batch cycle of ice and then it says add water. They're is plenty of water in it. I unplug for about 5 minutes and restart it and once again it only makes one cycle of ice and then the light appears again. Please help.

The probe is misaligned and needs to be corrected manually.

Because it is a new ice maker, it is not recommended to eat ice made from previous rounds.

What is the room temperature when you used this ice maker? If it is below 5 degrees Celsius, there may be even ice conditions. Try not to use it in an environment below 5 degrees Celsius..

It shoud be that the air is sucked in the inlet pipe. Generally the condition will come out after cleaning the machine. Please use it about ten times and test if the noise will disappear.
