Overall, my experience with this table has been great. It feels very sturdy and is the perfect addition to the little nook in my office. I’ve built many many self-assembly pieces of furniture over the years, and it’s unusual for all of the pieces to fit together as snugly as they should (shelves are often too short, holes for cams not big enough, etc.). This desk was the first I’ve ever built where everything fit together like a dream. A few notes about assembly: 1. Everything you need to assemble this table is provided, EXCEPT for a flathead screwdriver. It’s recommended that you use one, but I managed fine just using a small coin. 2. It’s definitely possible to assemble this by yourself (that’s what I did), but I strongly encourage you to have a friend helping you out. There are times when having someone hold pieces while you screw them in would be very helpful. 3. The instructions do include words (in multiple languages!) in addition to the usual images, but there were a couple of times I had to really quadruple-check that I was orienting some of the pieces correctly, as it was not super clear in the instructions.

This is really pretty! I'm very impressed with the craftsmanship. It took 4 hours to put together. My husband put it together on his own. He said it was pretty easy, but must study the directions before starting. It matches my snack bar chairs and tall table very nicely. I created a really nice beverage station.

I combined it with a bookcase and WOW what a look! I love it! I have already ordered another of each for the other side of my fire place! The 2nd one I ordered has a split in the top. I am hopeful they will send me a replacement top.
