I wish I had bought one of these 20-years ago! The extension is easy to use, fully adjustable, and strong. I can easily transport 20 2x6x16-foot boards at one time in my pickup truck. This is one of the best designed products I've seen.

I like it.
I\'ve used it several times to haul long wood boards and ladders. It works as it should, but it is a little loose-fitting, so it must be strapped with items.
Handy for carrying long items
We recently decided to extend our chain link fencing at our cabin. It was difficult to find supplies in the area, so we brought them from a larger City we live in full time. There were 20 foot long poles , and this rack was a perfect solution to carrying these poles. It seems well built, coated well, and the cost was reasonable. The only comment I have is the fitment on one piece was rather loose, which leads to some rattling at times.
Love this outrigger
This has been a lifesaver for us. We are too old to be hunting our kayaks onto the rooftop of our truck. This saved us from that chore. We have a 5' bed on our Tacoma and can safely transport our two 12' kayaks from place to place. Easy peasy.
