First time constructing furniture at home- it was easy to follow directions and feels very sturdy. If you plan to move it in and outdoors based on the seasons it will stand without wall supports, just put heavier plants on the low shelves and a small weight. Its very stylish, I’m definitely getting another!

This is such a beautiful plant stand. I really like the fact that you can put it together to face left or right as they pre-drill the holes for you in the bottom shelf so you can flip that board and make the plant stand to be built in the opposite direction. This is very well packaged and I did not encounter any issues with damage to either stand. You may need a helper just at first as after you bolt the two metal half's together you are instructed to put on the bottom shelf, that is where things get a little awkward and a helper could be needed. Otherwise this is very easy to put together. One thing I would like to see improved on is possibly the five plastic leg stands. I would like to see some sort of felt on these as it would be better on a wooden floor. The entire stand went together easily and takes about an hour. They do show in the final steps to install 2 metal braces on each shelf. I did do this but I did not put the screws into the wood. The holes are not pre-drilled for you on the shelves to install these screws. I did not install them for that reason. But since they are bolted into the frame they will still provide support for each shelf. These are big so make sure you have the room for them. I would suggest to use the safety straps they provide and mount it to the wall once you decide on a permanent location for your plant stands. If a pet or a child pulls on them they will tip over. That added safety will insure you do not have a mishap. Each shelf is very solid and they are water proof as well. What a beautiful way to display your plants or even knickknacks.
