4 ft Vertical Raised Garden Bed with 5 Tiers for Patio Balcony

Perfect fit for my little deck.

I wanted to plant a garden but I live in an apartment. I have a very tiny deck so I decided to try this. It is just the right size and I fit pretty much in it.

Not good for veggies

The top bed gets enough sun but the lower ones are shaded from the upper ones. Next year I’ll try it with flowers; maybe it would do better. I took all the beds out of the frame and now they are doing fine.

Perfect for herb garden!

Drain trays don’t stay snapped

Easy to assemble and sturdy but the drain trays don’t stay snapped into the pots. I bought two of these and they both do the same thing.

Rip Off

Trays don’t stay attached even after I glued them.

Beautiful when filled, baskets came a bit warped

Beautiful stand, lovely when filled. Baskets came a bit warped, I had to let them sit in the sun with other planters on top to kind of mold them back into the correct position before I could fully assemble.

Flimsy but effective

Like the assembly ease but, not very sturdy. Plantar boxes tend to fall if you touch them. As long as it is undisturbed, it is okay. Should not be able to collapse on itself so easy. Design flaw. Lower price trade off.

Sun Warped

After a year the plastic lip that holds the planting box to the metal stand has warped and will no longer stay attached to the stand. The top planter (that gets the most sun) constantly pops off the metal bar and falls down, crushing the plants in the boxes below as it falls, and leaving a huge mess of dirt on the patio...

Not what I thought

It’s a well made product. The pictures don’t show a side view. There’s only a few inches clearance between on pot and another. It’s an incredible waste of planting space. Sunlight will not get to each level.

Pay attention to illustrations. Easy to relocate.

Great for planting indoor germinated plants. You can keep them indoors. Or move them outdoors.

Sturdy 5 tier raised garden bed planter

I am preparing for spring because it will be here before you know it. I am a seasonal camper and ordered this vertical planter to put on our site for the upcoming season. I was thrilled I got one that has 5 tiers as opposed to just 4. Each tier is a good size too. I will be able to plant a couple different options on 1 tier. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. The stand and over all planter feel pretty secure. I may do a rainwater set up so it is all self contained. Not sure I can pull thst off we will see. I am not even sure what I am going to plant but Im hopeful it will be colorful and pretty. So far I am happy with this planter and may order another for my home.

Good buy

10 minutes to set up. Seems a little light, but soil should keep it steady. Don’t know how it will hold up to winter

Great Planter

This planter was very easy to put together and looks great. It doesnt take up a lot of space so if you don't have a lot of space and would like to plant some things, this is great. Well constructed and holds plenty of potting soil without affecting the shape of the potting containers. Has a tray on the bottom to catch any excess water. Just a great planter.

Good amount of grow area

I got this to grow strawberries in Spring. There are 5 shelves and they are stacked vertically with an incline. This is a good use of space if you have limited yard space like me. The assembly took me about 15 minutes. It was pretty easy to assemble and no tools required. The containers are held up by the rod. They slip into the lip of the container and stays in place due to gravity. The containers also have a water collection tray at the bottom that snaps on. I recommend drilling a small hole on the front of each so the overflow goes to the next lower tier. This will minimize waste if you accidentally over water. Overall a good looking planter setup.

Thin plastic

The plastic containers after a while will soften with being in direct hot sun. The containers will then slip from the holding frame and drop onto the others. I have since moved the frame to a semi sunny location. It seems to have helped. I had planted strawberry plants in each but the dropping of the containers dislodged the plants from the soil. Will not be buying another or recommending.

EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND BEAUTIFUL WHEN FILLED WITH PLANTS

I am 73 years young and a bit frail. I thought I would have to have help putting this together, but to my surprise I was able to do it all by myself! I have it fully planted. It is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this planter to any even slightly interested in this type of gardening.
