Great stuffer!!

love the ease of use. Wish the clamp was bigger as I have thick counters for attachment but that's really the only issue. Suction can allow device to move around more than I like but it usually holds for quite awhile.

In general a good product.

This sausage stuffer does a good job at a good price. A good value for the occasional sausage maker. Fast and easy to set up and operate. The only negative is the piston allows a fair amount of meat to slip past to the other side. I wish they had incorporated a silicone seal on the piston to make a better seal. However, it was easy to pull the piston out and put the meat back on the other side to finish stuffing. It is advertised as a five pound stuffer but in reality it only hold between three and one half to four pounds.

It's got quirks but it's plenty good

200 sausages in and I'm happy with this product. It stuffs well. There are only two minor drawbacks: if you freeze the equipment the suction cup won't work bc of the moisture, and it's hard to operate this alone if you fill it up all the way. But I've found that the stuffer works great at room temp (i.e. it doesnt mush the meat) and that it's easy to use the stuffer solo if you fill it up half way. Overall, not bad at all 4/5 stars

Poor work man ship on the handle . Screw that keeps the handle on is not sturdy enough. This part should be bigger.

I do bulk sausage and am routinely left with a significant amount of meat. However, with this stuffer, I reduce my waste significantly and end up with 5 feet of sausage that I would otherwise not be able to use!!!!!!!!!

Impressive stuffer.

I purchased the 3.6 liter. I really liked it. It holds 5 lbs of ground meat. There was some black residue in the bottom edges but washed out easily. I placed some olive oil around the plunger and pushed sausage very easily. I had no blow back or sausage seep around the edges of the plunger. I used the middle size tube which I think was around 3/4 inch. It cranked easily. The case can be removed for easy cleanup. The only negative I found were the clamps did not have enough thread to clamp down to a 1 inch table. I had to add a 2x2 under the tabe to take up the space. The clamps held well and the stuffer did not move.

Great sausage stuffer that is a tier below others in price

This is the first sausage stuffer I have owned so I cannot speak to the quality of some of the more expensive models, but in my experience with this one I would find it hard to justify spending $60 more on one of them. I bought the 3.6L model which has easily fit 5 pounds of meat. That's the most I have put in it but I think it could take probably close to 6 lbs. This model clamps down to the countertop or table and stays secure even when applying great pressure to the handle. It comes with 5 sizes of horns, the 3rd largest being the best for standard bratwurst sized sausages. The stuffer is made of a mix of aluminum and stainless steel which gives it a very sturdy feel but I think the lack of all stainless is what allows them to sell it for a bit cheaper. The plunger on this model has a silicone cover on it which is very helpful when cranking down on the meat. The only part that I've felt could be improved in quality is the crank handle, sometimes it can feel a bit wobbly like I might break it when the tension increases, but I have used it 6 times now and it's still fine. Not enough of an issue for me to deduct a star. Hand washing can be a bit of a pain for the base of the stuffer. The actual tube where the meat goes is detachable, but the plunger is not. So when washing the plunger you have to put the base, crank, and all into the sink. Not a huge deal either. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sausage stuffer for the first time, especially if you're not looking for top of the line. This one is probably not the best on the market, but it is very reliable and a great value.
