Great choice.

Held up in a storm with a big umbrella folded up. I live in NC so wind on the coast can be brutal. Heavy but movable. So far so good.

As described

After a bit it becomes loose and needs to be retightened in the bottom. It’s outdoors so I get a lot of rain and wind in Florida so it does collect leaves and pollen underneath that needs to be randomly cleaned. But it’s heavy so it holds much better than the plastic water or dirt fillable one I returned that just fell all the time.

Good and nice looking, but consider umbrella size

Good product, and nice looking, but probably better for 8 foot or smaller umbrellas. On gusty days, my closed and covered 8x11 foot umbrellas keep blowing over.

Perfect Base

The umbrella kept blowing over with the prior base. This base from this company worked extremely good....never blew over even in the highest winds. Thank u

Very happy with the umbrella stand. However it did not come with instructions which wouldn’t normally need, but needed to know why there are two matching inserts.

Heavy and stable base but not cast iron

We purchased this base thinking it was cast iron (title mentions that) but buried somewhere in the description it does mention that it made out of resin. Apart part from this, the base itself is pretty heavy and looks sturdy. It does get windy here in Sacramento, so only time will tell if this base works fine. I will update my review after the winter is over on how this base held up.

definitely heavier than most

We live in a high wind area. The standard umbrella bases are not near adequate for holding up an umbrella. This base ha worked much better for the common winds although we had not had higher gusts to see how hit held up to our wrought iron stands. Base is much wider as well. So far we are pleased

Good Quality and heavy weight, no problems with umbrella blowing over and where I live is windy most evenings.

Great umbrella base

This base is very attractive and very sturdy. I use it to support a 9’’ patio umbrella. The afternoon breezes can get fairly strong but the umbrella remains Stable. I never worry about it tipping over. I highly recommend this base - great looking and very solid.

I wanted an umbrella stand that was both attractive and sturdy. This stand fits the bill! It is very heavy, so my umbrella won't blow over and it is fairly attractive. I wanted a bronze color to match my umbrella pole and this one does. It is larger than I expected, but I'm happy with my purchase.
