I bought this as an insert for my fireplace, because I do not want to burn wood and needed a heat source for my back part of my house. It is Awesome! It fit right in the fireplace and it heats up a large area. The back part of the house is a den, bathroom, hallway and 2 bedrooms. It's so cozy with the lights off. I love it!

Great! Not Energy Efficient
Great Product! The size is perfect for inserting in a typical size fireplace. The amber glow from the insert is beautiful and adds ambience to the room that of a warm winter fire. The unit puts out a good amount of heat efficient enough for a large family room and more! The downside to using this insert as a main source of heat is the unit is high energy usage and tge electric bill doubled to $700.
