The heat output it is not so good but I live in Florida it is not necessary to much heat. In my case when I purchased this house had a regular fireplace that use logs. I did not want to deal with the smoke and the smell. I decide to replace it with an electric fireplace leaving the existing ductwork in place in case I sell the house and the new owner can come back with the standard one.

Other than instructions, it's great

As is too often the case, the assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired, and we had to use two screws of our own because the screws that came with it stripped like they were made of butter when trying to screw into studs -- but the actual fireplace is pretty awesome. Fairly realistic, although no one will be fooled, but it has realistic qualities and gives us the "cozy" feel we were looking for. A bit modern for some decor schemes, but we love it.

Very high-quality at a much lower price

I like the quality. I love the idea that I can change the flame colors. The remote control works well and the electronics are intuitive.I could have paid more from other brands, but I doubt they would be better! I am not easy to please, so you should take my review seriously!

Wife is in love with this fireplace

My wife has been asking for a fireplace for our room for a couple of months, so I wound up looking at a ton of reviews and decided to go forward and roll the dice with this unit. Absolutely love it! Easy to install, directions are ok, and it looks great. The dimensions for the install were spot on so building the wall unit was a snap. Overall expense for the unit and the build out was roughly $500 all in. Highly recommend this fireplace
