Fantastic Tool, Cuts Beautifully

This tool performs flawlessly, at least in the first few months that I've owned it. Easily cuts through book bindings, very clean cut. I've been scanning my old textbooks, feed flawlessly through the copier/scanner following the cut. Scanned (2) 500+ page textbooks yesterday, double sided of course, without a single missed page. As you can see in the photo the cut is not perfectly straight but very acceptable. Very important to use the clamping bar build into the device. Not designed for single sheets but will still do the job although cut not always complete.

FANTASTIC Machine

Awesome machine. Tooj it out of the box, no real assembly, attached the bar. That was about it. Heavy duty machine. Clear lines for measurements. Sweet Machine.

A Great Tool!

Works as described, but I still have issues with it cutting on a slant

I bought this for cutting spines off of old catalogs I plan on scanning for personal use. To that extent, it works great and is easy to use - my 11 year old enjoys helping me cut the spines off! No complaints there. However, no matter what I do, it still seems to cut on an angle, see the attached photo. I'm a pretty savvy user of equipment and have tried everything I can think of to secure the books in place, but still...they're on an angle every time. For my use, that's not a huge issue...these are being scanned and the originals tossed anyway, but if someone needs an exact cut, this would be a serious headache.If it could cut straight, this would be a solid 5-star, but with this issue, it's a 4-star at best, and that's only because I don't really care about having straight cuts.

Great cutter for small projects

Great product. Would give it a 5 star if it was not the slippery cut. It’s not very precise but enough for the task.

It is heavier than I expected an a heavy duty table or stand is needed.

I lov my new paper cutter. It was easy to set up and just as easy to use.

Stellar Performance!

Marie, as we have come to call this, is the end-all be-all of paper cutters. Precise measuring is ensured by the adjustable slider and press. Cuts thick stacks of paper as though they were but one. Can't say enough good about this product. There are not many instructions included, but it is not difficult to operate.

Very nice cutter

We bought this for moderate use to cut thin cardboard dividers on a production floor. Everyone seems to really like it. The blades are Sharpe and we have had 0 issues after a month of heavy use.

Clean first but works well

Heavy and had grease at first. Make sure to wipe clean! Works well though.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

Super clean cuts, with the minimum of strength. About packaging one of the supports was broken but there was an extra one so I had no major problem, it is too heavy to move it from place but once in its base it is very soft to use

Great size, fits perfectly on file cabinet. Very handy to have close. Paper trims precisely.

Great cutter but a few issues

For the most part, this is a wonderful cutter. As other reviews have mentioned, there were no instructions on delivery and the knob that turns was on reverse when it arrived. Once we got that fixed, it's been great for cutting large stacks of paper with minimal effort. The only real complaint I have is that if we have a small stack of papers (I often have to cut about 15 sheets of regular weight paper or about 10 sheets of thick card stock), it buckles the paper at the top when ti's pressed flush with the ruler. It usually bends the top of the first couple pieces of paper. However, if I am cutting a large stack of 50-100 pieces of paper (regular paper OR card stock), it works like a charm. I'd maybe recommend a smaller chopper for smaller cutting jobs to avoid buckling the paper.

Cuts, but cuts at an angle.

Does the job, it cuts huge stacks of cards restocked paper that I use for my Invitation business. However, none of my stacks are cut straight down, there’s always an angle. And isn’t just wastes my time and materials. I usually have to reprint everything because the paperback cutter ruins the invitations. Also, the clamp is shorter on one end and taller on the other, which doesn’t be clamp my papers down correctly. If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know!

Awesome paper cutter.

This is an amazing paper cutter. I am a planner and scrap booker. It cuts all of my inserts straight edge and with very little effort. Highly recommend if you sale inserts or make create your own inserts.

Wow. If you need to cut paper 100% correct, this is the one you need to buy. I love it.
