This came with a white remote control but has no button to switch from rc to m. Only has a forward and back button and a low and high button. Where the rc/m button should be is only a solid black spot that has no button.

Actually, there is no no button to switch from rc to m on the remote control originally. It is automatically tuned to the frequency.
