Well I had a friend check this thing out and turns out the switch light doesn't work, but the warmer does eventually get hot. Although agree with another reviewer that it takes about 3 hours to warm a towel and not really warm enough. Oh well, guess I will have to consider a hard wired unit if I buy another one.

Perfect for small spaces

I was looking for a small towel warmer that can be mounted on the wall in a small bathroom and this is perfect. I have a small apartment with a small bathroom that gets pretty cold in the winter and this is great. It takes a while to turn on but I used a smart plug to schedule it to turn on 30 minutes before my shower and it's perfect. It's also great because I was so worried that it would be dangerous for children but it does not get too hot even if left on for hours. It was very simple to install even though the instructions weren't perefct, I didn't need then or even need to use the anchors.

Great heated towel rack

Using this in a basement bathroom. This drys the towels so they don’t retain moisture after use. Bathroom itself is a bit less humid as well. The only thing that could make it better is a thermostat setting. But I try to remember to turn it off after an hour when towel is dry.
