  • Slightly Tilt Blade Up Avoid Dragging-No How To Use Instructions-Good Quality For The $

This Is A Good Quality Shovel Plow For The $! Here\'s what to know: It is not too heavy, yet is all steel metal except for the Wheels which seem flimsy but will probably last a very long time. Blade is not angled to one side or flippable which seems fine. The metal arms-handle tubing is a bit thin which might over time, fail where the 2 tubes bolts at the bottom. There was a punch/drill out that I had to drill out better to insert the bolt. I like things to last so, vaseline/grease wheels shaft & handle bottom bolts, 2 more washers for the inner wheels, at the bottom 2 hollow tubes I did add: extra washers between the tubes and the bolts & wheels, clear spray painted inside the tube ends and caulked around the tube\'s middle seams to ward off rust, cut & inserted a short inner metal tubing from an old metal broom handle. Then drilled the hole through it as well so I could insert the attachment bolts. Ignore instructions-Attach blade AFTER handle attachment otherwise long handle bolts will hit the blade, or flip the nuts/bolts-you\'ll see. You do have to flex-push the last tube connection together-bolt holes align fine. Tighten bolts until tubes seam has no wiggle & handle stays in position-has a bit of a drag. Paint pen/label on the tubing & blade \"slightly tilt blade up-avoid dragging\", then cover with clear box tape. Dragging is only good if you want to knock off some ice. To tilt up, you have to move the handle down to touch the stops, to about your thighs. I\'m 5\'8\" 155 lbs. A bit too low for me, so I added 2 small plastic/rubber squares on top these stops, glued with super glue sprinkled w/baking soda. Now it\'s perfect. We just had over 1\' of snow and this is great for long sidewalks or driveways. There is a learning curve on where to push the snow as it gets heavier behind the blade. I can\'t imagine a blade wider than 30\" would be too heavy real quick in heavy snow. The foam on the handle top is a bit of a joke, because it\'s too short to be where your hands are, more on the sides. Hangs Well on our fence horizontal member on 2 4\" J hooks from homedepot and shielded from the sun\'s aging. Take care
