I\'ve been camping in tents for over 20 years. I\'ve done backpacking, horsepacking, comfort camping (drive up sites at state parks), and glamping (resort campgrounds with tons of amenities). If you don\'t need to carry your own gear, it doesn\'t get better than this! IFor my last glamping trip I used a full height air bed with a foam mattress topper and it wasn\'t even close. Instructions: 8/10 The instructions were pretty good and easy to follow. Inflation:8/10 Slow the first time, but otherwise takes about 3 minutes manually pushing air in with the bag provided. Would not recommend waiting for it to \"self-inflate.\" Deflating/ packing up: 8.5/10 Easy but does require you to manually roll the air out. Comes with straps to keep it rolled up. Fits easily back into the bag. Comfort:20/10!!!! It feels both soft and supportive, like your mattress at home. It\'s even better on a cot, where you can really customize the softness without worrying about feeling the ground. Convenience: 6/10 okay this thing is BULKY It packs up bigger than a regular air mattress, so it takes up tons of space in the trunk and if you have more than one of them... well, I hope you\'ve got a truck or trailer or something, because you\'re probably going to have to pare back the rest of your gear otherwise. For me, it\'s absolutely worth it, I just use a rooftop cargo bag.
Holds air very well sealed and is very comfortable for being as thick as it is
This sweet inflatable pad was inflated & ready to go in less than 45 seconds!!! Seriously cool!!! No need to blow in any air. The material is a little thin, but you don't get to be lightweight without dropping some thickness. No worries there....you don't want something super thick when backpacking or hammock sleeping! Just make sure you don’t have any sharp objects on you and you'll be fine. It's very comfortable! My kids & hubby love to sleep in hammocks when we go camping & this slim pad is perfect for that!! They always want their head elevated when in a hammock and they usually have to bring a camping pillow. Comfortable but not bulky! Why do you need a sleeping pad in a hammock you ask? Insulation! All of these lightweight hammocks pass a breeze through them and make it a lot colder than it seems. Great in the summer, not so good in the fall and winter. I have flat pads, but they don't curve well with the hammock. This one is perfect in my opinion! You will really like it!!! Excellent!!!
