The Best Rolling Tool Chest

This rolling tool chest is the perfect size (fits in my studio closet), not only for tools, it holds all on my stuff nice and neat… This tool chest is of good quality, drawers opens and closes smoothly, and the matted black finish is a nice touch!

Nice Product but No Instructions

It works really well. We ordered two at separate times and they came on time. Unfortunately, neither of them came with instructions on how to put it together or use it.

Reasonable option for the regular guy.

Bought this when it was time to upgrade to a tool chest for my home's garage/hasty workshop. Sufficient build and durability for my needs. Houses enough tools for average guy and/or the occasional DIYer (what I would consider myself).

It holds all the smaller tools and things like screws/nuts, sockets, drill bits and other small stuff.

Great for the Small Stuff

Well, I like it. I have a heavy-duty Craftsman chest. This chest is ideal for putting my everyday light tools in to use around the garage. The larger chest has the bigger tools with larger drills, saws, impact sockets, etc.This chest frees up the "lighter duty" drill drivers and bits that are commonly used. While it's lighter-duty built, it serves a good purpose.Why didn't I think of this before?Recommended Product.

Nice chest and great customer service

When I received my chest, the door was not attached so I reached out to customer service who helped me very quickly reattach the door. This chest is perfect for my garage, and is a good value.

Amazing Product for the Money

The craftsman drawers at the same price range are so flimsy. This product works very well, and I am so happy with it!It is sturdy, the drawers open and close smoothly, it is very roomy, and I really like it.Some room for improvement:Either make this intended so that the toolbox can be removed, or make it without the removable toolbox.I am using it with the toolbox screwed in, so it feels like there is a lot of wasted space, as I cannot open the top section of the toolbox.If I wanted the toolbox to be removable, it would be great if the side access panel were hinged, or something like that, but it is either: screw it on or leave it off.Also, the front panel that covers the toolbox, again it would be great if it were hinged, or at least magnetic, it cannot stay up on its own, so I have placed a magnet in front of it to hold it up while I want it up.

So far so good...keys are sneaky

My dad set the toolbox up, no problem there. He couldn't find the keys and the sliding front door wasn't attached. I contacted Costway (the customer service company). They were responsive and asked some follow-up questions. While I was waiting for a response, I found the keys. In the exact spot the manual said they were. THE TOOLBOX SEEMS LIKE ITS LOCKED. IT'S NOT. THE KEYS ARE IN THE TOP (FLIP UP) COMPARTMENT. Now for the sliding front door? I have one side latched on but the other side is giving problems. I'll keep trying. It can't be that hard.Overall the toolbox will hold the everyday screwdriver, wrench, etc. It is flimsy. I'm 6' and it's shorter than I would like BUT if you're just grabbing tools and not building the space shuttle, you should be good. I bought it because I needed one place for my everyday stuff. It works for that purpose.

Packaged very well to avoid dings and scratches. Minimal assembly. Great value for the price. Brought it for my husband who is quite handy around the house. Now easier to find tools for proyects on honey do list.

very useful when working in the garage

This rolling tool box is sturdy, well made, and relatively compact. It is smaller than other toll box, but they can hold all the tools I need. The drawers operate smoothly, even when heavily loaded. It is easy to take what you want while working in the garage.

As described with great customer service

This is a smaller sized tool chest and was exactly as described. When we faced an issue finding the key - the company responded very quickly (less than 24 hours) and with excellent instructions (photo was attached to their response). Would recommend and by again.

Easy to install and very good for organize tools!

My husband told me to buy a storage cabinet for his tire shop, i was purchased on April 23 it arrived so fast, i though in this situation will take long time for that, they only came one box easy to install! When he install and put in our shop it was so perfect size and its very organized with 6 layers.so we can put different tool in different layer! Very recommended!

Great budget roll away! Perfect for home garage or even starter mechanic.

Bought this actually to set up as a home set of tools since my main toolbox was at work, and I was on a tight budget. Easy to set up and install, doesn't take of much space but stores a decent amount of tools. If you know exactly what you need, or are just starting out, this is the perfect budget roll away. A few nice features, it locks, and the wheels lock too, just like a full size box. It has pin holes for hanging tools, and comes with a few hangers to start you off. I like the handle on it, but wish the hanging holes were on the same side. So far, I'm quite happy with it. It is a bit wobbly, so I didn't give it 5 stars.

Not perfect, but still a good value.

I can finally have all of my tools in one place! I like the fact that some drawers are deeper than others, and that they all come with liners. However, you can only lock the top compartment and not all of the drawers, and some drawers will occasionally slide partway open all by themselves. The unit is not as sturdy as the more expensive brands, but is still a good value for the average homeowner.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. He’s quite happy with it. Very easy to put together. There was no pic on the outside of the box so I didn’t have to hide it
