It's super cute. Once you figure it out, it's easy to piece it together. The shape is very dreamy, it is very spacious, she can sleep in it, this is the daughter's secret base.
It was easy to put together and disassemble.it also seams to be holding up to enthusiastic playing. It's a great tent for the money.
I purchased this to put my toddlers bed in. We currently share a room and needed to give myself and her a little bit of privacy. Her bed fits perfect in it. I couldn't be happier. Now for assembly it was easy but did need a extra set of hands to get the 2nd bar through. The bed fits perfect amd my daughter seems to love it too. I did see another tent like this one for twice the $ that was 2 inches bigger, i am so happy this worked for us. 10 out of 10 stars.
What do I like about this item? It’s made of cotton canvas, and is a really nice size. What do I dislike about this item… whoever designed this needs a good hard slap upside the head. I won’t worry about brain damage because that’s clearly already present. One would think when looking at this tent that it would be made with 4 poles that attached together at the top. WRONG. It is TWO poles, fed through a tiny seam, that must cross over each other. How does one feed two rigid poles on a curve, especially with that sharp bend at the peak? You can’t. Can’t be done. (Yes I did unzip it before inserting the poles.) the first pole goes in with moderate difficulty. It tends to snag on the joints as you try to feed it through, especially at the peak. The second pole though…. I wrestled with it for nearly an hour. There was no way to make it across the peak, especially crossing the other pole, especially with it snagging and bunching up on the joints. It was around this time that I decided this was an utter piece of garbage and I should just return it. However, it would have been just as much of a struggle to disassemble it at this point. So I continued. I saw the impossibility of the situation, so I was forced to cut the seam right at the top. This allowed me to feed the pole in straight out, then come back down the other side after disconnecting at the top joint. You will definitely need a second person to assist, by the way. Yay, I got it assembled. Unfortunately, I will never be disassembling this tent. If we choose to disassemble it, I’m going to cut the poles out and throw the whole thing in the trash. But hey, I got it up for my kid to enjoy on Christmas morning. Yay. And the first thing we do in the morning is unzip the tent to get inside, which immediate snags on the lace at the top. If Santa brought me a blowtorch for Christmas, I would have become an arsonist. I despise this tent with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. I also want to add, I’m an engineer. I love building things and taking things apart. Assembling furniture is in my very nature. This abomination should be sent back to the designer and they should be forced to put together 100 of them in a row before they’re allowed to sleep.
My daughter very unique little girl and loves to play in nice calm corners so I bought this for her hoping she'll play within the house and it worked! She loves to play within the tent and it's very big and spacious for ages 1-4 for sure. Easy instructions to follow while building and the material isn't cheap feeling at all.
