Portable Air Cooler Fan with Heater and Humidifier Function

I purchased this portable air cooler for my new sewing room, in my garage. I was hesitant because I live in TX and it is HAWTT! Surprisingly, this little cooler is working pretty well! This unit is really a 3-in-1...air cooler, heater, and humidifier. However, I have not used the humidifier or heater yet. I like that the cooler comes with 2 ice-crystal boxes, that you can add to the ice cold water, to strengthen the efficiency of the cooling. I also like the swing operation because it really helps to get the air circulating. On top of this, you do not have to sit close to the cooler, in order to feel it. I have a 2-car garage and this cooler does not cool the entire garage. So, I have purchased another unit :-) I MOST DEFINITELY recommend this air cooler!

This one is really great for me to save some money! So I don't want to cool the whole house when all my relatives go on vacation or just travel a couple of days... I cool just one of my rooms and that saves a lot of money, so thanks, and DO NOT FORGOT! - really make sure the filter is wet)

First, this evaporative cooler is not a compressor-based refrigeration unit, so its cooling effect cannot be compared to a regular household air conditioner. After adding water and setting it to "cooling" mode, the cooler works exceptionally well, especially under direct exposure to cool airflow. I placed it in an insulated three-car garage, and its performance has been very satisfactory for several hours at a time, even when the outside temperature is 90 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 32 degrees Celsius) or higher. It feels very cool when working on a workbench. Other advantages: 1. Lower energy consumption compared to a real air conditioner; 2. The included cooler bag can be used to enhance the cooling effect; 3. Easy to move/portable; 4. The power cord storage device on the back is very practical. Other disadvantages: 1. The cooling effect decreases slightly if not in direct airflow; 2. Adding water increases the humidity of the cooled space; 3. The noise from the fan at high speed may interfere with online video conferences (though this doesn't seem like a major issue to me). Finally: If creating an exhaust vent for a conventional air conditioning unit is impractical, or if you want to avoid the energy costs of a regular air conditioning unit, then this product is recommended.

Packaging: The packaging for the heatsink was larger than I expected; I apologize for not checking the dimensions before ordering. However, this is fine, as it means getting a larger product for the same price, and generally, larger fans/heatsinks offer better performance. - First Use: The operation is simple and intuitive. Although I read the quick start guide, I think it would be easy to use even without it. A few points to note: In pure fan mode (without water cooling), no water needs to be added; it operates like a regular fan. If water cooling is enabled, ensure the water level is between the minimum and maximum marks; the water level indicator is located at the bottom of the fan and is easy to see. - Performance: The fan comes with two ice packs that can be placed in the freezer for extra cooling in water cooling mode. The fan speed is adjustable, and the speed settings are very reasonable, with both the minimum and maximum speeds within an ideal range. - Noise: I've been using this fan for about a week, and its noise control is significantly better than other fans in my home. I hope it maintains this level of performance. - Controls: I don't usually like using remote controls, but the remote control and touch buttons on this fan are very easy to use. Overall, I really like this fan; it cools a single room without having to turn on the air conditioner to cool the whole house like I used to.
