Nice shelf very sturdy if put together the right way.
I read some of the other reviews and I was concerned this wouldn’t be a good shelf. I’m hoping my review will help someone. First of all these wonderful screws that have the white plastic screwed on the end took me awhile to figure out the best way to install them. Please refer to my included photos. Unscrew the little white thing off of the end. Place the white thing in the correct hole then place the screw and screw it in. It will allow your shelf to lay correctly when putting it together. Also the round metal things that locks it in can be confusing if you don’t know how to install them. Make sure the little arrow is pointing towards the hole. I promise you it will make putting it together go more smoothly and you’ll have less frustration. I believe the shelf is worth the money. It’s sturdy if put together correctly and definitely will serve its purpose.

Suits my needs - great quality
The directions made this a snap to put together and move into my guest room. I did not add the wall anchors but I will before my grandkids arrive. It was easily assembled in 30-45 minutes. The Montissori style 24 inch bookshelf looks nice. The shelf has these locking bolts that I was not familiar with but they were easy to use. The shelf is very steady and no wobbles. There are small stickers to cover the bolt holes. The appearance is white, smooth with no defects or any gaps. It does not look like a piece of furniture that I assembled. I figured out the base rhen put the vertical shelf piece on, then the horizontal pieces, then the sides and back. There are 5 cubes, each about 11 inches deep inside. It can hold toys, books and baskets. The shelf is 44 inches long and about 24 inches high, giving it a low profile for children or it would be a nice plant stand under a window. The finish is easy to wipe clean - there were no weird odors or chemicals

Costway representative - Q:It cannot be assembled according to the instruction, the part A cannot tighten the boards.A:The white plastic part of the screw needs to be loosened a bit to stuff it into the hole and then tightened to lock it up; Eccentric wheel above the printed arrow is oriented, the eccentric wheel needs to be turned to the arrow facing up and then put the plate, the plate will be able to be put in without gaps, if the arrow is facing down when the plate is put up, the plate will not be put well with gaps.
