Love it! It was a pain to put together and definitely took two people to do it. It's very sturdy, has a good weight capacity, and is very long. I looked at several different models and I'm glad I chose this one!
Nice metal frame. Comes with extra screws, washers and wing nuts. The edges are very sharp, be careful when assembling. I used a Phillips screwdriver for faster tightening. It's actually slightly longer than 8 feet. About 2 inches when assembled.
The box arrived damaged, almost cracked on both sides. There were four panels dented in one corner, not sure if it was shipped or if FedEx lost another heavier order of mine. As for the product itself, despite the dents, it was relatively easy to assemble and was pretty sturdy once assembled. Looks good. Can't vouch for its durability, but I think it's worth recommending.
bought five of these beds to start a vegetable garden in my backyard. They were very easy to assemble, better quality than I expected, and look more modern and stylish than most of the competition. I was concerned when I bought them how they would look in my yard. Instead of detracting from the aesthetic, they enhanced it. I'm very impressed.
These elevated planters are extremely well made! They are made of high quality heavy duty steel and are reinforced in four locations on the top and bottom. The powder coating will last for years. Once assembled, they are very sturdy! It took me about three hours to put them together. To be honest, it was a tedious process with lots of bending, kneeling, squatting, and 112 bolts and wing nuts for each planter. The actual assembly process was very simple and straightforward. My wife and I are both in our 60s and we needed a device that would elevate our plants a little so we didn't have to bend over and kneel down. These planters did the trick and as you can see...they are really beautiful! Although it was difficult for me to do, we are planning to order another one in a different size for another area where we grow vegetables. My only concerns are the four corners where they connect to the ends, and the first side panels on both sides. There are gaps in each fold. Since these gaps are also on the inside, the potting soil may wash away in a heavy rain. I have to find a way to seal these corners, but other than that, it's been great and I highly recommend these.
