I am tickled at the ease of putting it together. Directions is easy to follow. Supplies labeled. It is adjustable in height, by both desk and chair so we can do learning assignments, Art or music. He fell in love with it immediately. Dry erase desk is wonderful for art or notes. This will grow with him and be used for years so I got grey in case he changes his color and it will always go with our home.

My daughter is moving up to a pre-k classroom soon and will be having more homework to take home. She's been asking for a desk but we've been hesitant to add another piece of furniture that would take up a lot of space. After much hesitation, we looked around and saw this compact desk that is adjustable based on the child's height and age. We decided to take a chance and ordered it for our daughter. To our surprise, when the desk arrived, it was very heavy in the box. Upon taking it apart, we realized that the frame was all metal with the plastic chair and trays. Assembly was a lot easier than I expected. I was able to assemble the desk by myself within half an hour and with my daughter's "help" in moving parts around. Once it was completed, my daughter was excited to use it. She quickly brought her teddy bear and books over to use the desk right away. So far, she's used it every day, but nothing school related. She likes to sit there to read or play with her toys most of the time. Once school is in session again, I'm sure she will make great use of this. As an adult, I've tried to test the limit of this desk. I've sat here to do work briefly and to eat quick meals. The chair is comfortable (or as comfortable as it can get without a cushion) and the desk is sturdy. I'm about 110 lbs and the desk easily accommodated my weight without any wobbling. My daughter loves having the light with the bear button to turn it on...although I've had to remind her multiple times to turn it off when she's done. The light has different brightness that you can adjust to your need (3 different settings). If you decide not to use the light at all, you can just detach it from the desk and put it away. The desk also has a hook on the side for a backpack. I'm not sure how much weight it can hold since we haven't hung anything heavy, but it seems to be durable. Overall, this is a good investment on a desk for my daughter since she can use this for several years to come.

It arrived quickly and we have been using it for a couple of weeks now. Hubby said it was quick and easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. This desk has been sold out for months with all the kids having school remotely. My favorite thing about it is that it grows with my child who seems to grow every few months. That is important to me because he won't be uncomfortable at a desk that is too small and I won't have to purchase a new desk every 6 months. I also love the hook to put his backpack so that once his homework is done, it can go inside and is ready to grab in the morning! The light changes degrees of for different times of the day and the cupholder keeps their drinks from getting knocked over and ruining their homework.

Just as the headline suggests, the desk is set up in my wife's office, where my 3 yr old spends her time reading, playing with puzzles or coloring when my wife works from home. Another plus is the hanger on the side for backpacks and the storage underneath the desk. I'd definitely recommend.
