This is my third purchase and each time I've only replaced it not because of performance but because of some other issue like oxidation or sun damage. I am full-time in my RV and compost in a very remote area of Utah which requires me to keep extra food on hand. Originally bought my last one in April of 2020 and it is still running however, I ended up in the hospital and my best friend's boyfriend ended up unplugging it with food inside and it became contaminated. He's a jerk lol. The unit was beginning to come Sun faded because I leave it outside my RV and it's able to keep food cold throughout the summer especially ice cream which my on board RV fridge freezer cannot. I've used it well back in Arizona for the winter to make my run to Costco easier and not having to come right back from town after parking in around Arizona 30 minutes away from grocery stores and the nearest Costco. Friends are always impressed by its performance. I ordered a replacement today and keep my fingers crossed it works as well as the last two have have. Totally recommend for anybody who's full-time in a van , car , RV etc.
Year 1 was good, used 4 times Overlanding in a set-up jeep. Year 2 was not as good, Plug was built weak and broke. Also keep shutting off. Used 3 times. Year 3 Still dealing with bad plug on side and ended up buying different Maker cuz darn things lid was not keeping Cool temp, bad seal. Tried using 1 time before shorting out controls. Getting ready to though out, into the trash!
We use it for camping and going to Costco. It keeps things cold or frozen no problem. You can even freeze water bottles in it. The middle divider comes out so you can make more room. In book it’s a good buy
