I have bought this shelf three times. One for each of my kids rooms and one for our living room. The product has never arrived damaged. It is sturdy. My husband just adds some wood glue to the pieces held together by the wood pegs. It’s not too hard or time consuming to put together. Definitely recommend.

This bookcase is awesome! I was thrilled with how easy it was to assemble and that it clearly defined each part. It is very sturdy and I don\'t feel like it is going to break after being loaded down with books. It is exactly the right size to fit paperbacks 2 deep on each of the shelves at the top and the bottom shelf/compartment is the right size to hold standard paper sized items upright. Prior to getting this I had stacks of textbooks all over the floor and another bookcase that was groaning under the weight of way too many paperbacks. Now everything has a place, and I am unconcerned about anything being overloaded. Definitely worth the money.
