14 Inch Full Size Rubber Wood Platform Bed Frame with Wood Slat Support

I had over the least eleven years slept on a futon that folded out to a full size bed. The futon lasted with the constant use about 8 and 1/2 years. The second futon lasted only 18 months before one of the main length wise supports cracked and failed. I decided to replace those futons with the bed frame so that I could continue to use the mattress from the last futon. This frame is sturdy and easy to put together. I assembled the whole frame in about two hours with some aid from another person, but you could do all but the last step by your self. The last step involves laying down the slats(4 sections) in each half of the frame(two per each half). The slats are connected together in groups of seven each, and held together by two cloth bands. To make sure that each portion was receiving the designed support I utilized the extra per son to help stretch-out the bundles. The bed frame looks good. It has four solid wood supports in the center and does not grown or deform when I lay on it with my plus than 250 pounds. There is also adequate clearance underneath should you wish to store some items under the bed.

I’ve been looking for the right bed frame that doesn’t make noise when I move and is sturdy. This is it! This was the easiest bed frame I’ve put together. Not many pieces and everything fit perfect! Highly recommend

I bought two beds for my kids and they arrived early. I decided to turn on a movie for the kids and build these while the movie was going. We opened the box and the wood is so beautiful. It’s a light raw finish. My 4 yr old decided to help me screw I. The screws which was the longest part, but a good learning experience for him. All in all took about 15 minutes for a 4yr old to build otherwise I could of had it together much faster. It’s solid wood and feels pretty sturdy. They will look beautiful in their room. Will update if something goes wrong. So pleased and definitely recommend!
