Cools as advertised. Since a/c\'s low/high fan operation only affects fan speed, place larger fan running high speed in front of 10K Btu a/c unit and run a/c unit on low speed to dampen noise for easier sleeping. Photo is test config running off of Power Smart 2500W gas generator in Houston back yard. Started up in eco mode fine. Also tested this a/c unit off 2000W Jackery battery generator and used 900W, started no problems. Selected 10K btu because it draws less power, cheaper, and will run longer. With fan, 10K btu is more than sufficient for larger room. Just started using a/c unit, hope it lasts along with generators.

I purchased it for my office ,pretty decent quality unit after one month usage. It was easy to install by the window. It\'s easy to operate and cools down room pretty fast. I like the size to move around easily. It doesn\'t make much noise and easy to maintain. Overall, would definitely recommend it

I'm not big on ac but I really needed some circulation and to dry the humid air in my house. We bought the attachment to use with the sliding glass door. We run mostly the ac or fan, but after summer plan to use it as a dehumidifier. It works well for our needs. The only problem we've come across is an us problem, not a product problem. Trying to keep the cats from sitting on the top and adjusting things or turning the power off so we've had to put some spray bottles and a small fan on it to deter the cats. Great product, great price. Would recommend.

My main use for this unit was to try & achieve a reasonable temp in a 2 car garage. I work in here quite often & it is normally 90+ degrees in the summer (Florida summer). So, I wasn't expecting too much from this little guy. Overall, this is a nice, compact unit (on casters). Can fit easily in a closet when not in use. Weighs 40+ lbs & is constructed mainly of plastic (the housing). It will ship assembled. All you need to attach is exhaust hose (which also folds down). There's a remote included as well. You will need 2x AAA batteries (not included).I prefer using the remote vs the onboard control as it seems more responsive. The control panel is pretty straightforward. You have 3 modes of operation: cooling, drying & dehumidifying. I only tested cooling as this is the main intention. There is also power, up/down temp & fan control. if this unit can take my super hot & humid 2 car garage down almost 10 degrees in 14 hours, you will have no issue cooling a smaller room inside of your home & most likely in far less time.
