So far, everything is simple and functional.
It's fairly simple to assemble. The first container is already half full with twigs, paper leaves, sandy loam, and composted veggies. Now we're going to top it off with good soil.
The charm of summer gardens
Each box contained eight bags of organic soil, one bag was planted with vegetables and another bag was filled with wild flowers.
Well made and great value for money.
So far so good. The product was easy to put together and they didn't skimp on the parts. They also sent a few extra screws in case you lose one or two. I bought the large size and it was well worth it. Just need to refill it. I will update after using it for a few months.
Wing Nuts!! Why?
have assembled a few of these from different brands. They are fiddly, sure. They have thicker panels and a nice powder coat. But it can get scratched, so you need to be careful. I assembled this on a nice, breezy 70 degree day. One thing to note is that dark colors get hot. I bent over to pick up a panel and dropped it because it was too hot. I used an infrared thermometer and it was close to 150 degrees! I just assembled a competitor's flower box and they included a pair of gloves, so I really appreciated that. This would have been a 5 star review, but I took one off because of the wing nuts. So many wing nuts! I always start the screws loose and tighten them with a drill bit with a socket, and it's really fast! But this one... 80 wing nuts. All hand tightened. Sigh! Other than that, it's pretty good.
