This kid's kitchen has it all! I wish I had something like this when I was a kid. Our family gave our four year old twin grandchildren (a boy and a girl) a toy like this to play with when they come over. They have a similar one at home but this one is next level. The sound effects that the stove makes, like the sound of something boiling, frying, and the realistic heating element are just amazing. It also has an ice maker with two ice cubes in it, and yes, you can use that. I believe you can buy the same size wooden blocks at the toy store and paint them white so that you can fit more ice cubes. We plan to buy some food to supplement this toy and keep them entertained for hours. So, as a finished product, it's great, but here's the problem. First, we both laughed when he saw that you could put it together in 90 minutes. First, it took me about 60 minutes to open the box. Get out the 60 different parts, yes 60, and then cut the box, which took quite a bit of time because the box was much heavier than the ones I usually cut, and I have become an expert at cutting boxes. It says two people to put it together, basically one person can do most of it and need help from another person occasionally, but that's the reality of time. If you've assembled 20, yes you can probably do it in 90 minutes, but the reality is it will take 8 hours for one person and 4 hours for two people, and you may make some mistakes that you have to redo, like my husband did, he's very picky when it comes to assembling things, but he still put several parts upside down, front to back or whatever he did, while I was watching him assemble it in the room with the TV. There's no doubt that it takes a lot of time to assemble this. Another thing is that it took almost another hour to sort them numerically, so I had two people do it together, which took much longer than the first half to two hours of unpacking, cleaning and sorting by parts, which took about four hours. Was it worth it? Yes, of course it was worth it. We would do it again if necessary, and the kids went crazy when they saw it set up for them, it's a perfect gift for your little ones, I promise they will love it! Super sturdy Nice rounded edges for safety Great special effects. In fact, it fits perfectly in our hallway and we can walk around it easily. The only thing missing is food, so be sure to get them some food that goes with the set. Very reasonably priced for such fun toy furniture.
This toy is perfect and my child is thrilled. It took me two hours to put it together. The pieces are very detailed and the details are very well done. Microwave, oven, sink, stove - my child can play with it all day.
My daughter is always helping out in the kitchen. Her biggest dream is to have her own kitchen so she can keep busy anytime, anywhere. This great looking kitchen set is the perfect choice to make her dream come true. It is easy to assemble. It only took me about 35 minutes to put it together. My daughter can't wait to start playing with it. It has all the functions of a kitchen and is the right size for a 6 year old to play with for a long time. All parts are made of high quality materials. I highly recommend it.
My kids loved this mini kitchen. The roles they played in it were brilliant and kept them busy. So it wins! As far as building this thing, it was one of the longest furniture builds I've ever done (think cabinets, bar tops, beds, side tables, etc.). Thankfully, I thought the instructions that came with it were excellent. They're not line drawings, but actual photos of the build process, showing exactly where the pieces should go and how they connect together. It's a godsend. Other instructions (think companies that start with I and end with A) will completely fail in this regard - just a few small pictures and symbols. All in all, not a lot of negatives, but one piece seems to be printed backwards (the ice maker). It's also a little smaller than I thought it would be, but I think it's a good size for toddlers. So, dads, prepare for a long build, and parents, prepare for fun and memories with your kids.
My baby loves this kitchen set. It keeps her entertained for hours and we can use it for tons of role play. I love the accessories and it was easy for my husband to put together.
