Wooden Hamster Cage with Mesh Flip Roof

Easy to put together. All wood except the plexiglass, so you don't have to worry about it breaking. Lots of room for a hamster. I put a light on top. Added a few items and it looks great. I love it. Also, FREE shipping..

This cage is perfect for hamsters! The bottom is large enough to provide plenty of bedding for them to burrow. It's also easy to disassemble and clean. The original running wheel was a bit crooked and didn't work very well, but we bought another one.

With a few modifications, we turned this cage into a chameleon cage. Seamus seems very happy with it. The cage is sturdy, and all parts arrived intact. Perhaps I should have bought one with a central door so I could put some large plants in it, but he really loves the two-tiered cage and enjoys exploring. The drip tray is separate from the main body of the cage, making watering much easier. This is very important because with a sprayer, mister, dripper, and eight potted plants… there's always a trickle of water. Plus, it keeps out any crickets that might occasionally escape. The flat top design makes installing various lights, misters, and sprayers much safer. The crossbar also provides Seamus with extra climbing space. The bottom storage shelf is fantastic for holding all sorts of pet grooming supplies. If this cage were available in a larger size, I'd probably upgrade in a year or two, because even a grumpy lizard deserves a better one.

It's great, sturdy and durable, and easy to assemble. This is a gift for my sister; I wanted to surprise my niece. That's why it's only on the floor now. Later, I'll put it on the dressing table in the bedroom, with a towel underneath. I also bought one for my son, but I didn't take a picture. I thought I did, but his is just sitting there, and it's the perfect size.

This cage is huge! My hamster loves it, and it wasn't difficult to assemble. So far, it seems to be a great cage, even bigger than I imagined.
