Wall Mounted Pull up Chin up Bar

Poor installation instructions. Need mounting on studs so need options for 16”&24” wide stud

It comes with anchors but not for drywall. Personally it needs to be screwed into studs so it should be designed for 16” and 24” wide stud centers. I cut open the wall and installed a 2x12” blocking board between my studs. I mounted using the width of the system which was neither 16 or 24. The anchors it came with were unusable to me.

Awesome pull up bar

Unfortunately I had to return this unit because my shed simply didn't have the needed vertical 2x4's to support mounting this. I tried mounting above the large 5' wide door on the horizontal 2x4's and as others have mentioned in their reviews THIS IS NOT realistic. I'm 180lbs and the horizontal studs were flexing over the door. The product and instructions were excellent, I really wish my setup allowed for this to work but it's my fault and not the products, thus I gave it a 5 star review. I ended up having to get a pull up tower which I tried to avoid due to not alot of floor space. I like the pull up tower because of the dip rack and leg lift area but this pull up bar was better for pull ups. If you have the necessary wall and supports give this pull up bar a try!

Came with the perfect screws to fasten it to a solid wood beam. Its actually four pieces not one.

Needs better Hardware...

2 out of the 8 bolts broke so easily, I wasn't even able to get them all the way in the stud before the bolt head snapped off so I'm going to replace all 8. What really sucks is now I have two bolts broke off in my wall that I cannot remove so I'll just have to cover those holes up and remount it once I get some decent bolts... This product is pretty thin and flimsy as well, but you get what you pay for...

Not a one piece bar!

Description states it’s a one-piece bar but it isn’t. The main bar is 2pcs with a bolt directly in the center. Returning.

Ever since covid I decided to build up my home / garage gym and this pull up bar is one of the best purchases so far. I absolutely love it, installation was a little tricky since I went with using a wooden beam as a support and used the bolts to secure this but after that it was all good. I love this pull up bar and use it nearly every day.

Solid Pull Up Bar

I have been using this pull up bar twice a week for a few months now. I'm happy i picked this one. Quality product. It holds my 230 pounds without any issues and I am confident that it will hold me.

Very solid home gym addition

I’m stuck at home with my gym closed. Adding pull-ups to my home workouts has made social isolation more tolerable. The bar itself was easy to install except that the wall supports are 21 inches apart, so I had to bolt a 2 X 10 across several wall studs to support the bar.

Good sturdy bar

This is a good pull up bar very strong able to hold my Weight and my daughters so over 200 pounds. The price was expensive but that is due to the demand. It was pretty easy to install a template would’ve been easier mark where to install the drill holes. I used a drill and a wrench I was able to do it myself and I’m not that handy.

Works Well

I assembled the bar, mounted it to a 2x10 board and mounted that board to a couple studs. It works great and feels very sturdy (and I'm a big guy).
