Used this above my desk for extra storage and definitely does the job, although it does not allow for larger books or binders. Reinforced with brackets for extra support. Easy to assemble. Very happy with the purchase

Easy to put together
This shelf height can hold bottled water inside the shelving. It can hold a 8x10 spiral notebook laying flat or propped up sideways in the shelves. I put my shelf on four legs. Add glue when you put it together. Happy customer! I would recommend this item.

Perfect for Small Spaces
I live in a class A motorhome, so space is an issue. I am also a full-time editor, so I need access to my books for reference. Yes… Paper books… They still exist. This cabinet was the perfect size for my living room. It supports my fireplace, electronics in the closed doors and books on each end with plenty of space for extra books to be stored in the back of the shelf. It was easy to assemble, but I do recommend using a heavy duty liquid nails when you assemble it if you plan on filling it with books like I did. Great value and beautiful addition to my living room.
