I was a little hesitant to open the box at first because I read the reviews before I bought it. It's very fragile and they left it at the bottom of my stairs where anyone could get to it, so I thought it was broken, but surprisingly, it's exactly like the picture. It feels great. Love it! I'll have to find a way to hide the wires, but it's a great thing.

Purchased for renovation. Very pretty. It comes in a variety of colors and does work to dissipate heat. I found it easy to connect to the phone app by first powering off the unit from the front and then holding down the button on the front. The app is easy to use but you have to turn on the child lock to power it on from the app. We unboxed it after the return period and found the fan was very loud. So loud that I had to turn the TV volume up. I contacted the seller for advice. They responded within a few hours and asked for proof of purchase and a video of the noise described. I sent them the information. I really wish the fan wasn't so loud or I would have passed on the purchase. It's about the same as a box fan. I searched reviews and didn't find any mention of fan noise so I think it may have been affected in shipping. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the noise. But if the noise can be fixed and the customer service doesn't disappoint, it would be a 5 star fireplace. I'll post back with my solution. After a few days of email conversations with customer service (due to time differences), they arranged to send me a new fireplace. I initially asked if they could just send a replacement fan part. Their response was very prompt considering our time difference. They were easy to work with, welcoming, and understanding of my situation. They told me to keep the defective fireplace. I don't think it's worth the return shipping costs. I will check back when I receive the fireplace. 5 days. I really hope this new fireplace doesn't sound like a box fan running at full power.

Love it! Available in different colors and flame speeds. It keeps my 500 sq ft small house warm even when the outside temperature drops to a few degrees below zero. I especially like the timer feature.

don't often write reviews but I was so excited about this fireplace that I had to. I'm a 65 year old female and while it would have been much easier to have two people assemble and hang it, I did it easily enough on my own. The only downside is that the instructions say to remove 6 screws to get the glass off...the instructions don't make it clear which screws they are because there are about 15 per side...you remove 3 per side...1 that is attached to the hanging rod and 2 in the middle of the glass area...I hope this helps someone because this is the first step and it took me 20 minutes to figure it out
