This is really easy to assemble. You just connect the poles and that's it.To get the brightest light all around, I would just have the light point up directly towards the ceiling so all the light bounces back to the room.Or you can tilt the head so create certain light effects. Fun to test it and see how the light changes as you turn its head to different directions.My eyes are getting old. This light is not good enough for reading. I still need a light that points directly toward me for reading. This is good for giving some light to a room.I like the modern minimalist design and the neutral black color. It goes well with most decor. I can move it to different rooms if needed and it will not look totally out of place.

This points upward so indirect light illuminates my home office. It is great for seeing, and as a back light for my Zooming. This light has three different settings including late-night blue. This also works with Alexa plugs. Highly recommended.

I like the lamp because is fashionable and so easy to put together. It came In a small box thinking that the lamp was small, but after put it together you can see that is the right size. I like the fact that you can make the room brigh, which I like or you can dim the light in your preference. I have a big leaving room and I needed extra light It works perfectly for me and my family. This is an excellent light. It gets very bright, looks nice, and is easy to adjust the angle. There is a single button that controls brightness, color temp, and on/off depending on how and how long you press it. It is very intuitive to use.
