This is a truly stunning electric fireplace, a full 50 inches wide! We've already hung it, but plan to cut into the wall, recess it, and then run the wiring inside. It looks great, as it's only about 4.5 inches deep. Now that it's plugged in, it's giving our bedroom a romantic feel! The fireplace has fantastic settings (since it's summer, we're just using the fan for heating, but we've tested it and it can adjust to two different temperatures if needed). The base of the fireplace features lights that change the flames and ten different colored glass crystals, each individually controllable for a variety of different looks. It has a 12-hour timer, and the remote easily turns the fireplace on and off. The gold gemstones paired with the orange flames look so elegant, and that's my favorite part. It's an affordable way to build a secure fireplace without hiring a contractor. There's a clamping plate on the back that mounts to the wall-mounted clamping plate. It arrived complete with the hardware, clamping plate, glass crystals, instructions, and remote control. It's truly a plug-and-play visual work of art! (Note: The fireplace is so heavy that it took two people to lift it to the wall. Although one end of the box was damaged and the plywood fell out when we moved in, the fireplace was packaged very well, and the glass and all other items were neatly arranged and intact.)
