Perfect vanity...
This dressing table is stunning and holds all my makeup perfectly. It was easy to assemble, feels very sturdy once assembled, and doesn't look cheap at all. My only downside is that the lighting around the mirror could be a little brighter. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase.
This review is for the girls who built it alone
The estimated shipping time was about a week and a half, but it actually arrived very early. I absolutely love this dresser. If you're having trouble choosing a dresser, or if you're as indecisive as I was, wait and buy this one. I ended up financing it because I was broke, haha. I needed something like this especially because my cat knocks over everything on an open surface, so a glass cabinet is so cute and convenient. It's exactly what I was looking for. It looks just like the picture, but I'm giving it a four-star rating because it was an absolute pain to put together. I saw reviews saying people finished it in two hours, but it actually took me five to seven hours to build it—and I'm not even kidding. The instructions can be a little unclear; they don't tell you how many nails or tools are needed for each part. I ended up just counting based on the pictures and basically building it based on each one. There aren't many instructions, just pictures. This mirror is durable and of great quality. The instructions for attaching the temples are simple, but even though I know the correct way to do it, I felt like I did it wrong, so the temples are a little wobbly. But I think it was totally worth it because I couldn't put it down, and I think this dressing table will definitely not be idle, it will be fully utilized, so I'm very happy to have bought it.
So vain!
I fell in love with this dresser the moment I saw it. It looks chic and elegant, and the size is just right. It took me a while to put it together (about six hours), but the instructions and packaging were clear and easy to understand, making it easy to use. The downside is that the drawers are too large, and the top three compartments are a bit awkward to access. Honestly, though, a simple solution would be to remove the dividers and buy vertical drawer dividers.
Not bad, but not great
Probably more like 2.5, but some of that is buyer's error. I spent hundreds of hours trying to find the perfect wooden/wood-colored dresser to replace my IKEA dresser and ultimately chose this one, which was a mistake. I didn't want to go through the hassle of disassembling, restoring, and returning it, so I just wanted it to work. My first complaint is that it's too small. I know the dimensions are listed, but it's still a bit misleading. The drawers don't pull out far enough to truly fill them. In fact, I don't even like having drawers on a real dresser because I have to constantly pull the chair in and out while putting on makeup (again, a mistake on my part, not something I considered). Secondly, the light over the mirror is too dim. Like, unusable. I only use my old mirror because it's brilliant and I can move it around. I underestimated how much I disliked not being able to move the mirror and tilt it. I'm considering ripping the mirror out entirely and buying a larger old one. But my biggest complaint is that stupid crossbar on the front; my knees keep banging against it. I ended up having to buy some wooden risers, which I hate, but honestly, it's the only way it's usable. This might be a nice dresser for a child or teenager, or someone who's just short and doesn't have a lot of makeup, but definitely not for me. That being said, the quality is pretty good, it's heavy and seems sturdy, which is one of the reasons I didn't want to return it.
