solid!
I previously had bought these chairs two years ago, and needed two more. Prices on the internet are all over the place - up to several hundred dollars each for the same exact thing! These ones from amazon are the best price. And they\'re great chairs - very sturdy, clean lines, don\'t take up a lot of space (visual or otherwise). So glad I was able to find these!!

Quality stool for a good value
I liked the design of my current stools (modern style with lower back support) but the vinyl coverings have deteriorated so I set out to find something affordable that would be more resilient. These seem to fit the bill. The wood top/seat is nice and solid, the legs/base is hollow steel/aluminum but still pretty sturdy and I got the pair for about $100 so that's a great deal. My only complaint is that the seat doesn't go as high as I'd like.
