A Solid Freestanding Closet With Few Issues

Overall, this free standing closet is worth it if you are willing to take the risk of getting a potentially defective or damaged product. The instructions for the closet were basic, but easy enough to understand. I finished making it in around 10-15 minutes total, the building process was simple and straightforward. To my surprise, the closet itself is pretty sturdy. It has held a full load of clothes for the past month without visible signs of stress or wear. There are two issues: 1) A minor design flaw. The clothes that you put on the hanger will probably go past the pole below. In other words, unless you are hanging children's clothes, the hanger part will not be high enough for your jackets and sweatshirts to hang without hitting the next pole below. If it was two or three inches higher, it would have been perfect. 2) The closet didn't arrive in perfect condition. There was a giant scratch on one of the poles which was noticeable, but I just put it in the back of the closet so it isn't visible. While I got pretty lucky, I know that these types of products tend to be a bit of a gamble; most of the time there is at least one defect in them (just see all the other freestanding closet reviews online which look exactly like this product), so keep this in mind when buying. Overall, I'd say that my money was well spent. As someone who must live in the living room of my apartment, it was a good solution despite its flaws. I will update with photos soon :)

For what I paid, fixes up my cludder space. The directions were less than understandable. Might need to make improvements there.

This stand is amazing! I put all my kids things on it and it held up very well.

Putting together was simple but actually placing rods into holes on shelves had me working up a sweat. Overall good product works well.

We love our little outside closet it’s pretty tall I’m 5’4 and it’s a little taller than me it took like 40 mins for my boyfriend to assemble it and it was delivered on time.

It will be a handful if you try to figure this out all by yourself...It did take me a while to assemble it, but it came out pretty good. Overall the material is pretty sturdy, and also shipping is very fast. Worth the price for a temporary closet if you ever need one!

A 4.5 star rating, if only I could. I was spoiled at my other house where I had a dedicated laundry room and could fold and hang my clothes right out of the dryer. Since I wasn't so lucky in the new house where the laundry is in the garage, I decided to purchase this rack in hopes of providing some of those same needs. I'm happy to report that it works well, making laundry day a bit easier. Only wish it were on wheels, which is why I took away half a star. It came in lots of pieces which was overwhelming at first but after laying all the pieces out, I had no trouble putting it together with following the directions. There were a couple of pieces that I needed to use a rubber mallet but otherwise it all went together easily.
