Filled both with water. Worked great, as promised. My weatherproof umbrella withstood the beach breezes - even 44 mph one day - for a full week. The pole is secured with the provided allen key. Installation took less than 1 minute. Then filled with water as instructed. The wheels worked great on the deck and the wheel locks worked as expected. Since I took these to the beach... the pole can be removed, which made loading the stuff into the car less of a hassle. I taped the allen key to one of the poles on the way so I wouldn't misplace it. Very happy with my purchase. Especially since I happened to catch it on sale.
