It takes 2 hours to assemble the overhang
It comes with all the parts and is fairly easy to assemble, but it requires at least two people to build and takes some time. It is fairly stable, but needs to be anchored to concrete to prevent wind damage.
Very solid gazebo - highly recommended
bought this because my previous cheap gazebo collapsed in the last hurricane. I must say this gazebo is very solid - it feels more stable, solid and heavy and won't move. I didn't secure it but I don't have to worry about it shifting. It has rain drains to direct water to the ground so no worries about water pooling. I'm an engineer so I put it together myself in a few hours. The instructions were simple and two people could have done it pretty quickly. As you can see it fits the area I needed it for perfectly and I love the insect screen and the shade. What's great is that you can close the door to reduce glare when I'm watching TV. Also, with a fan or air conditioner like I did, you can make this area really cool. All in all I'm glad I purchased it and highly recommend it. Definitely one of the best backyard decor!
Excellent customer support
My 30 year old grandson and his brother built this for me. I bought two because I needed one for the patio table and one for over the pool spa. There was a small piece of plastic that was damaged but they delivered it to us the next day and we were very impressed since we live in a rural area. I have only had it for a month but so far they have been great. We get severe storms here regularly but the construction and fabric are in great shape. If we knew a storm was coming we would have used bungee cords to hold the fabric together but we had an unexpected storm a few days ago that actually blew our chain link dog kennel through our 6 foot fence and left the gazebo or shade cloth unscathed. We really love that we can now enjoy the outdoors in the middle of the day and we live in the Mojave Desert so it gets pretty hot here. I am so glad I chose this brand. Love it.
Satisfied with the results
I'm very happy with my new gazebo. The orientation is a little difficult at times but it's still manageable. All in all it looks beautiful and if the rain stops we might be able to sit under it and enjoy it.
