Outdoor Garden Green Pedestal Bird Bath Feeder

Birds love this birdbath!

We bought this birdbath because the birds could no longer access our pond waterfall. The birds absolutely love it! We have a heater for it. We have seen so many more bluebirds and cedar waxwings and a gazillion starlings who try to make it their own clown car.

Looks very nice in the yard.

So far it has handled the wind well, I did put sand in the bottom to add weight. It holds plenty of water and is easy to clean. I just haven’t seen many birds at it so I’m wondering if it’s the color or the little decorative bird on the side that makes them not use it as much as I had hoped. Since it has only been in the yard a couple of months I’m going to hope the birds get used to seeing it and start using as much as they used the one this replaced.

Be Wary of Bird Ornament

This birdbath has an elegant, metal look. I filled mine with cat litter but the narrow stem doesn't hold much so it's still lightweight. I'll just lay it on the ground during stormy winds. I don't see the point of using the flimsy staples since they'll allow grass & weeds to grow through the base. I placed mine on a piece of tile. It's easy to assemble but the picture instruction shows a tube or cylinder on the basin edge for the bird to fit into. There's no such item. The small screw provided left the bird a bit wiggly so I secured it under the basin with waterproof tape. Two weeks later I found the bird on the ground and decided to let it adorn a cabinet instead. I had not seen a single bird prior to this. After removing it, the birds came back! For the reviewer who said it's too much water for small birds, just don't fill it so full. I put a water wiggler in my basin to keep away mosquitoes. This morning a sparrow perched on top of the wiggler, two others were on the basin rim and a fourth happily splashed around in the water.

Looks like a copper bird bath and is nice and deep. Lightweight, so it's easy to move. The open style stand allows you to use anchors if you wish.

A Splendid Gift for my Birds

I couldn't be happier! The price was so reasonable, and I always seem to have a problem putting things together, but this took me only a couple of minutes to screw it together. A great deal and a wonderful gift for my little feathered friends during this heat.
