These totes are amazing. Like many people, I used to use those big black plastic bins to store Christmas decorations. Until I discovered these! The outer shell is thick enough that they won't melt when you stack them. The inner storage features a cardboard grid system that keeps fragile items securely contained within their own compartments. I have a lot of small items, and after securing them with a layer of bubble wrap, I can fit two or three in separate compartments. You can manipulate the cardboard to create more space for larger items with multiple compartments. The plastic is opaque, not transparent, but you can still see what's inside. I store my decorations in my spare bedroom, so I can't comment on moisture, dust, or heat exposure. Finally, take your time with the zipper, as it can be a bit stiff, but after a few uses, it seems to be working more smoothly.

I needed a new box for my ornaments and this one is awesome! Easy to assemble.
