Difficult to put on, easy to slip off, brittle plastic breaks.

I used these about a dozen times before one of the buckles broke. The plastic gets brittle in the cold.
They are awkward to put on, to the point where it's discouraging to use them for short trips. Once they are on, they don't stay on well. The boot tends to slip out of the strap on the back, causing the whole shoe to slip off. When that happens it's usually when in the middle of a lot of snow and it the whole buckle set has to be undone and redone. The double straps on the front are overkill and just complicate it.
Would not buy again.

I had to order these twice since the first pair got lost in shipping but once I received them, they performed well. We went snowshoeing and they were much better than the ones that we had rented earlier this season. They are VERY easy to put on, light, and grip snow and ice very well. We went up and down some fairly steep slopes and they worked fine. I even went into some deep snow drifts and I didn't sink into the snow very far at all. After a day of hard use, they still looked brand new.
