Most buyers praised the raised garden bed for its sturdy, galvanized steel construction, ease of assembly (often under 30 minutes), and effective drainage. The included hardware and tools were appreciated, though some noted sharp edges and fiddly screws. Size and height suited various garden spaces, enhancing usability and plant health. Overall, the product offers good value and durability.
This garden bed is amazing! The drainage holes work perfectly, and the legs keep it stable. Super easy to put together—highly recommend for anyone starting out!
assembled one of these myself in about 20 minutes. In less than 30 minutes I had it out to the yard with 5 yards of garden soil and three bell pepper plants. (I assembled a 4x2x1.5 model earlier today so I knew how to start.) Assembly Notes: Do not tighten any screws/nuts until all the pieces are assembled by hand. You will need an 11mm square open end wrench and a Phillips drill bit with a drill (or a screwdriver which I do not recommend) Hand assemble the end pieces first (do not tighten any nuts until all the pieces are assembled by hand), starting with the top screw and the bottom screw until all the boards are connected. Because the inner holes are in the middle of the recessed part of the board, I screwed the screws from the inside and put the nuts on the outside because I felt it was easier to access them with a wrench. Not sure how important this is, but the end pieces mentioned in the instructions are the outermost sides of the curve. That's how I assembled them. If one board is taller than the one you're connecting to, flip it over and see if that fits better. I found no difference between some of the plates in this kit (the 4x2x18 plates from the same company do have a slight 1/4 difference). Attach the flat plate to the curved assembly with one screw each on the top and bottom. The instructions show them on the inside of the curved end. With the curved assembly attached to the flat plate, and now that you have the two halves assembled but not together, go back and hand-tighten each screw onto a nut at the connection point. I had one screw with messed up threads, but there were extras in the package. If you can't get the nut to tighten by hand, flip the nut over and try again. If you still can't get the threads on the screw, try a different nut or screw. Now, connect the two halves: There are no stabilizer bars on this unit, but considering it's only 12 inches tall, it doesn't seem like they'd be needed. (The 4x2x18 model has three stabilizer bars that attach to the side panels for added stability.) Connect the two halves of the unit with one screw/nut each on the top and bottom sides. Once the screw/nut is in each hole, use the 11mm open end wrench to hold the nut in place and set the drill to 10, plus a Phillips bit, and tighten the screw into the nut. Repeat this each time you assemble the screw/nut.
Exactly as described, easy assembly. Should last for years.
Great! Not expensive and easy to assemble. Took me 1.5 hours to put together with breaks. Lightweight and durable. I even bought a second pair and am considering a few more!
Not the sturdiest but a good deal for the price. Already ordered another set. Was easy to assemble
