I have three large Maine Coon mix cats who love to chew on things, but they also love to lie comfortably on them. I've bought many cat trees before, but they all broke quickly. I've been using this cat tree for almost a year now, and it's hardly damaged. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The lower cat bed is a bit low, but the upper cat bed and the three cat beds are the perfect size. It looks great, and my cats love sleeping on it.

I just assembled it, so I can't comment on its durability yet. But seriously, it's as sturdy as a tank, not wobbly at all. Of course, it hasn't been fully tested yet, and the kids haven't really played with it. One of the cats wouldn't let me finish assembling it, kept jumping up, so I had to lock him up. I think that's a good sign. The other cat was very quiet and showed no interest in the box (I think that's a good sign too). In short, it's very sturdy. The parts are neatly arranged in the box and labeled. Assembly does take a bit of time, but it's quite large, so I think that's to be expected. I recommend assembling it in the room where you plan to put it. It slides easily on hardwood floors, but once assembled, you might not be able to fit it through a doorway (the height is right, but it's too thick). Moving it up and down stairs will be difficult—one person definitely couldn't move it if it were assembled beforehand. Recommended.
