love how easy and quick it is to put together. Just a couple of long screws with little attachments on the end that can be easily turned by hand to hold the legs and back together, and the armrests snap into place easily without screws. No bolts, screwdrivers or tools of any kind needed. If I can do it, anyone can do it. I had a friend help tighten the screws as they were a little tight in the holes, but I could do it myself if I had to. This might be a bit of a problem if you have arthritis in your fingers and hands, but it's still doable as it's not too stiff or difficult. It's very sturdy, has large feet and a thick rubber base which means it won't slide off, though I still have a large rubber bath mat on the bottom of my bathtub. I'm getting a waterproof seat cushion for it as it's hard plastic and not very comfortable to sit on. I would have liked to have found a chair with a slightly curved seat, rather than a flat, hard one, but they don't make shower chairs like that. I feel pretty safe with this one. I can't see how it could collapse or tip over. The armrests are there to help you get up from the chair with your hands. But if you're like me, you might want to get a waterproof seat cushion, which you can get at costway. I couldn't see that the seat was adjustable in height, but it was the right height, not too low and not too high. I have a small bathtub and this fits it perfectly.

Assembly was very simple and the quality and strength were satisfactory. I would buy another one to put in my husband's shower. Great value for money.
