A Very Good Option Compared to More Expensive Brands

After using this walker to get my mail for the last couple of weeks, I like it, for the most part... Please keep in mind this type of walker is for people who really need a minimal amount of assistance. I'm not a large person (5'3" and 124 lbs.) so I'm trying to keep that in mind as I review this walker. I feel this walker would not be substantial enough for a person much taller than 5'9" or who weighs more than about 175 lbs. The additional height needed for a taller person will cause the legs of the walker to be weaker is my concern and that may cause instability. Another concern is the very small, front swivel wheels. In spite of the photos on the page, they cannot be interchanged with the rear wheels. The rear wheels do not swivel so you will not be able to guide the walker. You also press down on these rear wheels for the breaking feature. The small, 3" front wheels tend to get stuck in pavement cracks and have difficulty on any uneven pavement. They would not work on grass at all. The simple solution is to replace them with 5" swivel wheels which I'm going to do as the end of my driveway onto the street and back is very uneven and slightly dangerous (see photo) to navigate. Now for the good things... It's very easy to put together. Just remember the front wheels are smaller than the rear wheels so you need to set the length longer on those 2 posts than the 2 rear posts that have the 5" wheels. I really like the ease of walking with this walker. It navigates like a shopping cart only much easier because it's much lighter and closer to the body. I like the Hand Grips (see photo) because they are adjustable. They can be tilted outward, be perpendicular or tilted inward, like I have them, and tightened in place.

    No "Help "response

Purchased this walker on July 17. One of the arm rest points DOWN not UP. Have made two 909 phone calls and three SERVICE e-mails to get a replacement and no one will respond!

    wheeled walker

Ordered the four wheeled walker last week, and my wife loves it, The only thing deeded is for the front wheels to have bearings for smoother action. It would be worth it to find a place that sells wheels with bearings.

Q&A

  • Q:
The smaller wheels on her walker will not go straight . when she tries to walk with it it keeps stopping her
    A:
Please try adding some lubricating oil to the wheel bearing .

  • Q:
I noticed in the User's Manual that some pictures show the large wheels on the front legs and some pictures show the large wheels on the back legs. I also see that the photos on your website show the large wheels on the front legs. Which is it?
    A:
Big wheel is for the back, and small wheel should be in the front.

  • Q:
How is the brake foot-activated and locked?
    A:
Push down on the armrests, and then the flat part of the leg makes contact with the floor, preventing the wheel from rolling but this product cannot be locked. .

  • Q:
How do the “brakes” function on this walker? I don’t see hand brakes per se. Thanks
    A:
Press down on the handle to brake.

  • Q:
The description of this walner makes it sound like it has one wheel and one arm rest. Please someone tell me if this had double wheels on the front, single wheels on the rear and two arm rests. Please do not just repeat what the ad already says as it is unclear.
    A:
The walk sticks, wheels and arm rest is all included in the package.

  • Q:
In your pictures I see the the backs wheels used in the front and posts used in the rear. When I read what's inclued in the package it does not say posts included. I need the back wheels and posts, so do I need to purchase posts separately?
    A:
They are both in the package. No need to pirchase aperatly. The walker contains two swivel casters, two brake wheels and four walker sticks/legs. You could freely match and assemble.
