Farmhouse Accent Round Coffee Table with 2-Tone Tabletop and Open Storage Shelf for Living Room

This coffee table is beautiful. Although it took quite a while to assemble, it was well worth it because it's both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing!

The product itself is probably worth four stars, but the customer service is definitely five stars. The package showed as delivered, but I didn't receive it, so I contacted customer service. The package was indeed missing, but the company responded and resolved the issue that same day, sending me a new table the next day. The table itself is sturdy, but the height-adjustable mechanism is rather fragile; it definitely requires both hands to lift or lower, and you can't put too heavy items on it while lifting, otherwise the adjustment becomes very difficult. I wish the tabletop could be interchangeable left and right, or could be opened in reverse without drilling. Alternatively, I'd like barn doors on both the front and back, so it would look good from any angle. Aside from these issues, the table is very stable overall, and the space under the tabletop is excellent for storage. The instructions are very easy to understand, and assembly is quick, taking about 45 minutes to an hour. Most of the assembly can be done by one person, but it's best to have two people together when installing the tabletop to ensure even installation. Overall, this piece of furniture is very good, especially considering its price; it looks like the kind you'd find in a physical furniture store.

It's heavy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing... but the delivery guy couldn't carry it upstairs and didn't even tell me it was lying on the stairs in the snow. I had to wait for my daughter to come home and help carry it inside. Otherwise, it took several hours to assemble, and my husband had to help support it. However, once assembled, I knew it would be great. The instructions are easy to understand. It's very sturdy, and the color is a lovely country style. I love the barn door design and all the storage space it offers. The pop-up desktop design is so cool, making it much more convenient to work on the sofa :-). The desktop closes smoothly... you just lift it forward with both hands, and it closes automatically. Don't use force; the hydraulic system will make it close automatically. I love these details.

I bought this coffee table to replace a bulky footstool. I know it's a cheap alternative to a wooden coffee table, but I really love it. It was quite easy to assemble and looks great! It has plenty of storage space, making my room look much larger. The only downside is that the tabletop lift is on the other side of the table; if the design could be changed, I would give it five stars.

Don't get me wrong, we really love this coffee table. Its height-adjustable tabletop was a huge help, serving as a makeshift dining table for several months before we bought a proper one. However, it does have some rather serious and annoying drawbacks. First, it's difficult and time-consuming to assemble. The components supporting the shelves are poorly designed and easily come loose, causing the shelves to tilt. If you need to move the coffee table, the side panels or end panels can easily become slightly loose and require reassembly. Overall, it looks beautiful, and the height-adjustable tabletop is very practical, but the overall quality is less than satisfactory.
