It’s not difficult to assemble at all and pretty easy to get the hang of it. Quite sturdy. When I exercise for a few minutes, I feel like I’ve lost a pretty decent amount of calories. However, the downside is that it’s a bit hard to row. Might be better for someone with good arm strength. But besides that, I recommend it! Very nice full body workout.
I picked this rowing machine for my dad because he wanted a way to stay active indoors. He was really impressed with how smoothly the resistance adjusts, making it easy for him to tailor workouts to his comfort level.
The assembly guide was straightforward and included labeled parts, which helped me put it together in under 30 minutes without extra tools. I appreciated how everything fit smoothly, making the setup process hassle-free.
just received the product, and the quality is immediately apparent from the box. The structure is sturdy, and assembly was incredibly simple. I tried it out, and it's indeed as quiet as everyone says. While it requires about 9 feet of space, the machine's width is just right, allowing for easy placement against a wall or in an unobstructed spot, even in limited space. It's a rowing machine with a straight-line motion, so it can be placed almost anywhere. Moving it is also easy; simply lift the rear, tilt it over the front wheel, and then easily push and pull it to the desired position. It's not heavy at all. It basically consists of only two parts, plus a component for connecting the front support (two metal rods and eight small bolts). A standard-sized tool is even included for installing the other star-shaped components. Once the front support is bolted in place, the two main components don't even need further assembly—you just insert the seat part into the rowing machine part…no tools or bolts required. And for most people, all the components are lightweight and easy to move. The box wasn't large, and it was well-packaged. I've only used this rowing machine a few times since receiving it, so I can't comment on its long-term performance yet, but for now—it's definitely great value for money. I'm so tired of buying cheap machines that fall apart after a short time, with metal joints bending and breaking from wear. This rowing machine won't have that problem, and it's the same type used in gyms, so it should last a long time even with frequent home use. I can't wait to cancel my gym membership and use this rowing machine for outdoor walks/runs. In the long run, it will save me time and money and allow me to exercise more regularly and frequently. No more driving to the gym, waiting in line for equipment, paying monthly fees… I hope this review is helpful.
received the package at 2:09 PM today. I couldn't wait to take it out of the box, and was a little confused at first. At first glance, it seemed to be already assembled. After tearing open the plastic packaging, I found that it still needed three parts: handlebars, connecting hydraulic arms, and disassembling the rear crossbar. The whole process was very simple. There wasn't any messy stuff in the package, so it was easy to clean up. I immediately tried it out, and it felt great. I rode it slowly for 5 minutes in the living room. Then I took it outside, and it was really very light. I could even carry it with one hand if I wanted. It fit perfectly in the space I had reserved. The monitor is also very easy to use and convenient to view while exercising. I saw some reviews saying it was complicated. I don't understand why anyone would think that; maybe they've updated the product? Anyway, I was very pleasantly surprised and had no problems using it. Now let's talk about the resistance of this machine, which seems to be the focus of other reviewers' arguments… After taking it outside, I increased the resistance from level 1 to level 3 and trained for a full 15 minutes. Near the end, I did feel a change in resistance, but I realized that as the speed increased, my stroke amplitude also decreased. After correcting my posture, the resistance stabilized. So to clarify, I didn't feel a decrease in resistance. However, its durability is still debatable. My speed wasn't particularly fast, and I maintained a steady pace throughout. Some reviewers also mentioned the size issue; I'm 5'4" (about 163cm) tall and weigh 220 pounds (about 100kg). Yes, I'm a bit overweight, haha, but I had no problems using it. The seat padding could be a bit thicker, but I found a comfortable position after shifting it forward slightly. I noticed a *potential* problem: the footrests seemed a bit unstable. At one point, I had to adjust my foot position because I found that the front of the footrests was bending the plastic part at the back. Perhaps they're supposed to have some flexibility? I'm not sure. I feel like they'll be the first parts that need replacing later. Highlights: Value - 5/5; Size - 5/5; Weight - 5/5; Packaging - 5/5; Assembly - 5/5; Stability - 4.5/5; Resistance - 5/5; Performance - 5/5. Conclusion: Is this gym-grade equipment? No. Is it practical, convenient, and worth buying? Yes. I wouldn't recommend it to Olympic athletes, but it's definitely a good option for the average person who wants to burn some calories while watching TV. Updated March 22, 2020: I weighed 220 lbs (approx. 100 kg) when I wrote my first review. Now I weigh 154 lbs (approx. 70 kg), 14 lbs (approx. 6.3 kg) away from my target weight. The rowing machine still runs smoothly. I use the treadmill and bike for high-intensity cardio, but the rowing machine remains an essential piece of equipment for me. It's great for cross-training. The pedals are still working, which is a bonus
