Bought this chair for my mom who had just had knee surgery. It's a small-ish chair, but ample room for seating. I'd say the max capacity would be around 250 lbs. It works like a charm, although the assembly instructions were not super clear to hook up the mechanical part of it. I sent an email to the manufacturer and they responded immediately to help me get it working. We've had this chair for about a year now and it still looks great. My mom uses it every day.

Perfect for our 92 year old mother (5'7)
Perfect for our 92 year old mother (5'7). Comfortable, and easy to get in and out of. Foot rest can be raised without back lowering. Easy to clean. Beautiful trim style, doesn't take up the entire room, but plenty of room for her to sit in. Design fits in well with a variety of room styles. Easy assembly, but box was a bit heavy. Glad my son was here to help with lifting. Worth the price, solid frame construction.

Grandmother LOVES! The chair. She's 98 and still can get around fairly well but sometimes has a hard time getting up off of a sofa and will choose to sit in a dining room chair instead. This allows her to sit comfortable and still be able to get in and out of the chair alone. The chair was simple to setup, no need to pay for someone to assemble. Only issue I have is where the cord for the remote comes out of the chair should have been reinforced somehow. I can already see wear just from initial use and I can tell over time that it may start to rip. The fact that it is inside the pocket helps because at least no one will see it when it does rip. Overall for the price you cannot beat it!
