Great gift!

useful, but very basic
Clamping my Bosch router onto the table was clumsy, and it was time-consuming to remove it. The electric switch was badly located, and made viewing through the router ports difficult. I did not use the router table switch.Having said this, it was good; sturdy, functional, and precise.

I was fabricating a new dash board for my sons 32' wellcraft. I had to cut the outer edge by hand since it was a radius. It was a little tricky mounting my 45 year old router but it preformed very well and is very sturdy.

I put this table together in less than 20 minutes and started to use it right away. It was stable, strong, and true/flat. I didn't put the side table extenders, because I work with smaller pieces of wood, but the table is big enough to handle pieces of wood. My cheaper router didn't line up with the holes provided, so I had to use the clamps they provided. The clamps hold well, but you should check the tightness of them every once in a while.

If you want perfection, spend more money..
Not unhappy with it. But I got what I paid for. Good for projects that don’t have to be very accurate or precise. But it does what I need it to do.

This is great if your router base fits those holes otherwise you ...
Decent router table but there are issues. First of all, they have preset holes to screw your router into. This is great if your router base fits those holes otherwise you have to use the clamp system. The clamp system works but it is a bigger paing than just putting in a few screws from the top. I wish they had universal adapters to work with more brands. My second issue is the hole for the fence doesn't give you much room to work with. Thankfully, this is an aluminum table so I just drilled some new holes in the same grooves that the other holes were in an voila, I now have more room to move the fence forward and back. My third issue is the placement of the power switch. It's right in the middle blocking access to the router. However, I built my own base to out this table on and I just put the switch on that base. It worked much better for me that the location they recommended. Finally, my biggest issue is the flimsy metal extensions. Ugh. I put just a little weight on them and they bend. I think I will reinforce them with some steel but c'mon, that should have been done at the factory. So I like the table, especially for the price but things I would recommend they change are: - Have different screw placement options for the fence table (I just drilled new holes myself). - Have a universal adapter for more router brands rather than using the clamp system. - Reinforce the sides of the extensions so that they don't bend with any sort of weight on them.
