Solid product, short pole.
Solid product and great for the price, I wish that the pole was maybe 3 or 4 inches longer, I have 24" monitors and set them up vertically with a 40" monitor in the center, with the swing arm as high as it can go on the pole the monitors still touch my desk. I'll probably run to Lowes and buy some 1" aluminum tubing and make my own so that they align better with the center monitor. If you are looking to go vertical you can't use anything bigger than a 24" monitor.

Well built, if you are mechanically inclined.
Works great. I think a lot of people complain about this product, due to the lack of mechanical skills. This thing is sturdy, and very reliable. Very well made, and is capable of the specifications its rated for. I give it 5 stars.

Excellent product, I have a desk which has a bridge like stand for a printer above where the monitor goes and there's no way to put 2 monitors side to side so I've setup my dual monitors one above the other, unfortunately my top monitor stand does not tilt enough so the screen looks shady at the bottom, well this arm was the solution to my problem plus it open some space below the monitor so I jave organized small stuff like usb drives, sd cards etc. Great product... by the way my monitors are 22"

Arm Your Desk!
Organized chaos being the theme of my husband's work/gaming area, any way of lessening the amount of junk cluttering up the desk is very welcome. Picked up one of these for him and he got it installed today, which was amusing to watch for a couple reasons. First, his drill died a while back and he never replaced it, so he had to crank a drill bit by hand to prep for the screws. On top of that, he mounted it too high the first time, and then off-center the second time, but the third time was juuuust right. You can see the extra "ventilation ports" (as he calls them) in the picture. Once he finally got the placement and angle right, he seemed very happy with it. The material is a good quality and didn't feel like a cheap tin can and the arm gives you a good bit of reach in case you have to mount it on the side of a desk or want your eyelashes touching the screen. Four stars because the clamping mechanism is too wide to fit completely on some desks. Also my husband says it laughed at him. So here's a couple pointers: Make sure you have a drill. Make sure you play with various height options BEFORE you start putting holes in the monitor casing. Make sure you don't mount it off center, or the screen will swing upside down at random. And of course, make sure you and/or the one installing it can laugh at themselves if they forget any of the above.

The base is quite flimsy and short, so I had my husband create a longer, heavier one. Overall, I like the item.
