White is a yellowish color...off-white is not white. I have to paint it white.

Love that they are mortise and tenon, meaning no tools or "accessories" (like screws) are required for assembly. They are precisely measured and cut to fit snugly into each shelf hole. It may take an extra minute to get it snug, but once you do, it's easy to adjust and customize for any layout you want. I use it to store dishes and glasses in the kitchen, so I only made one tall and one short shelf unit, but there are multiple options shown in the costway product description or via a small thumbnail on the paper inside the box.

These shelves are super easy to put together without any tools. I was able to put them together easily, even without a puzzle. Plus, they can be quickly and easily assembled into a variety of different combinations. They look great in any room, and the shelves can be adjusted to different heights and lengths to accommodate the items you want to display. I plan on changing the look of them depending on what I want to display for when I entertain friends or family who come over.

This shelf is very well made and although it is small in size, it is heavy so be careful when placing it. I like how sturdy it is and it helps me make better use of my desk space. Love it! I like that the color is very natural. It took a little time to assemble but overall I like it.

All 6 pieces are packed in individual plastic bags (see photo) to protect against scratches and dents during shipping. All pieces are solid wood, not particle board or plywood. All edges are carefully sanded and the surface is smooth to the touch. Very well made! The pieces fit together with a friction fit. At first I thought the end pieces were a little too narrow, but with a little pressure, the crossbars (the actual shelves) fit perfectly into the support slots. This is good because there is no wiggle once assembled. The assembled components are relatively small and would fit in a kitchen or student desk. (No star deduction due to accurate dimensions in the description.) As mentioned in the product description and other reviews, a wide variety of combinations are possible. In addition, the pieces stay tightly connected even when disassembled and reassembled into different combinations. I think the 130 lb capacity rating may be a bit optimistic, unless the "reference" configuration in the main image of the product description is used. When used as two separate shelves, I wouldn't want to put more than 30 or 40 pounds on each shelf. In my opinion, this capacity is still pretty good.
